Yoga and Meditation

Overview: Meditation is the process of quieting the mind in order to spend time in thought for relaxation. The goal is to attain an inner state of awareness and intensify personal and spiritual growth. Modern yoga is most commonly associated with the physical practice of asana, a series of postures often weaved together to build strength and stamina, to improve flexibility, coordination and balance, and to relax the body.

CPR 101

Overview: This basic CPR course teaches beginner rescuers how to recognize and treat life threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest and choking for adult, child, and infant victims. Students also learn to recognize the warning signs of heart attack along with AED Training. The live portion performing CPR cannot be completed therefore a CPR certification cannot be issued via this online course, but all of the other skills and knowledge for CPR certification will be taught.

Water Safety 101

Overview: This course provides the knowledge and skills necessary to prevent, recognize, and respond to aquatic emergencies. It also prepares students for aquatic emergencies by teaching them how to protect themselves around water.
